Hydropower and Water Resources

The development of hydropower as well as the planning and construction of schemes for water supply and waste water require integrative and multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy: In its Hydropower and Water Resources Division, Lahmeyer International combines these services which are necessary for projects related to hydraulic structures and water resources management.

The know-how and expertise of our specialists are based on extensive experience gained during implementation of major projects throughout the world over several decades. In carrying out such development studies, especially in the case of complex hydropower projects, the close coordination of multi-disciplinary tasks involving technical, environmental, socio-economic, institutional and financial components is absolutely essential. A further important objective applied to all project developments is the sustainable utilisation of the natural resources land and water.
